Operating a successful franchise requires talent,
dedication and a sincere commitment to the Chili House®
brand name. Our goal as a company is and always has been
to partner with the best people in each market - people
with a proven track record in business.
Because franchisees are so important to our success, we
are looking to expand our relationship with qualified
individuals who possess the right mix of expertise and
enthusiasm. Our ideal candidates possess each of the
following characteristics:

• Proven expertise in restaurant
operations
• Previous franchise experience
advantageous
• Net worth of $1.0 million ($550,000
liquid), and
• Are committed to grow with Chili
House
Franchise Fees forward / only applied to Jordan
• Development Fee: $7,500 per
restaurant
• Franchise Fee: $17,500 per
restaurant
• Royalty Fee: 5% of Gross Sales (as
defined by us)
• Ad Fund: 1% of gross sales
• Term: 20 years
Prototype Project Costs (58 seats) Free Standing Unit
• Building: $230,000 to $320,000
• Equipment: $25,000 - $75,000
• POS: $5,000 - $7,000
• Signage: $5,000 to $10,000
• Due Diligence: $1,000 to $5,000
• Site: $100,000 - $240,000 for free
standing units
• Miscellaneous: $18,000 - $26,000
• Real Estate: Real estate costs vary
according to restaurant & lot size.
• Recommended minimum size of lot is
2,000 to 3,000 s/m
(These fees are not applicable to Mall locations and or
Inline Strip Shopping Locations.)
These fees do not include all costs associated with
franchising with Chili House.
Chili House is providing these figures to assist you in
analyzing your proposed restaurant construction. Site
acquisition, site preparation and off-site utility costs
are not included. We cannot estimate your actual
investment for improvements. The costs of construction
vary considerably depending upon the location and
conditions affecting the local market of your
restaurant. The above ranges represent our best
estimates of construction costs for a 58-seat Chili
House restaurant. These estimates are based upon the
experience on construction of company-owned freestanding
restaurants as well as industry standard costs of
construction. We do not warrant the accuracy of the cost
estimates.
