"The first time I had Chili House was when I was a
first year student at Jordan University. My friends
took me to the one closest to campus. I had never
heard of such a combination of food. My first
thoughts were that "there was no way that I'm going
to like this stuff." I ordered a 3-way and a Pepsi.
When the food arrived, my friends showed me the
proper etiquette on "how to eat Chili House CHILI".
My friends told me that it was absolutely necessary
to cut the spaghetti (not roll it on my fork) and
add a little hot sauce.
Not only did I love the meal but now I live for the
stuff.
Throughout my college years, I exposed Chili House
to my family and friends that came to Amman for
visits. After college graduation, I moved back home
to Ram Allah. But every time I came back to Amman
for a visit, I always stopped at Chili House for a
meal.
About 1 year ago, a Chili House opened in a town
near where I was currently living in Palestine. I
thought that I had died and gone to heaven. I
couldn't believe that a franchise was opened so
close to my home. Once I discovered it, I introduced
my husband to Chili House. He loves it. We tried to
make a weekly visit to Chili House.
My husband is so addicted to it that he wants to
find a place where we can open his own Chili House
Restaurant. Thanks for being so wonderful, and
Congratulations on 20years of being in business,

I used to live in Amman about 10 years ago. Now I
live in Dubai - I still have family in Jordan, so
whenever I go to visit, MY FIRST STOP IS THE NEW
CHILI HOUSE by the 8th circle, before I even go to
my families house, I go straight from the airport to
chili house Drive-Thru and get my favorite Combo 1
plus two cheese conies. Also, when I stay in Amman,
I eat at Chili House 3-4 times a day. I can't get
enough. I wish there was a chili house in Dubai, UAE,-
maybe someday.

Being from Kuwait all my life the term chili house
was always just that, a term, But recently I came
across your site on the internet. I was amazed to
find out how passionate people from Amman are about
their chili. I had to visit Amman and see what all
the fuss was about.
Well, I feel I have been robbed of this wonderful
taste sensation for the previous 3o years of my
life. I am now interested in bringing Chili House
Restaurant to Kuwait. Every visit to Amman now I
must stop at the Sweifieh Branch, and order a Combo
5 for my flight back to Kuwait. You have blessed the
people of Amman with such a wonderful variety of
food and taste.....
thanks for making me a Combo 5 addict.

I grew up with Chili House, all these years you kept
your standards up, but some people think im
crazy....about 4 years ago, i was getting married in
the summer of 2001, on my way to the church, i made
my drive stop at the Chili House, Abdoun Circle
Branch so i could get my cheese burger and chees
coney. I think your food gave me the courage to
continue with the marriage, i could not have done it
without you Chili Hose.. by the way, i met my fiance
at the Dahyet Al-Hussien branch, Chili House will
always be a landmark destination for us here in
Amman.. Thank You...

I lived in Amman, Jordan all of my life, I was
sooooooooooo happy that Chili House was opened, it
gave me and all my friends a place to go and have
great food, and wonderful service. NOT TO MENTION
THE BEST PLACE TO HANG OUT IN JORDAN... I got a job
in Saudi Arabia, and I really miss Chili House,
there is no restaurant in Saudi or the World, for
that matter, like Chili House. Finally, I got a
vacation break and I went to your NEW Chili House
location in the Former Jabri Building in Shmiesani..
Of course my mouth was watering waiting for the
food, but the worst part is WHEN THE FOOD FINALLY
ARRIVED TO MY TABLE I BEGAN TO TALK TO THE 3-WAY AND
CHEESE CONEY, and tell them HOW MUCH I MISSED THEM.
Of course I am not proud, but people at the other
tables must have thought I was completely CRAZY..
Well I THINK THEY ARE RIGHT .. I AM CRAZY ABOUT
CHILI HOUSE AND PROUD OF IT.. MY NEXT TRIP TO AMMAN,
I WILL LET YOU KNOW SO YOU CAN WATCH THE HILARIOUS
SCENE OF ME TALKING WITH THE FOOD.. KEEP UP THE
GREAT WORK...
NUMBER ONE FAN.

Chili House,
I am emailing to let you know how thrilled I was to
discover your restaurant in 6 October city, Egypt. I
am American from Detroit, Michigan, which is the
Coney capital of the USA. I have lived in Egypt
since February 2007. I had seen this restaurant
located on a popular corner by the university, but
had never been in it. I was unsure of what kind of
food they offered and always had difficulty
convincing any of my friends here to just try it and
see what they had. For the last few weeks I had been
trying to describe to my husband what Coney island
hot dog was , or you may call it a chili dog . he is
from gaza and having never been to USA he did not
see the appeal of it and had no idea what I was
talking about . for my birthday we decided to take
in a movie at the local cinema and grab a bite to
eat before. I said , “hey, lets go to the chili
house! We will check it out and I’m dying to see
what is in there”. We went in and were immediately
greeted by a friendly wait staff. The place was
immaculate and had an American feel to it we sat
down and I was thrilled to see a menu similar to
menus in my hometown. I had the chili salad , which
was delicious. I make a taco salad at home here that
has been a favorite with my friends that live here
in Egypt I will definitely go back and am looking
forward ward to your onion rings and a Coney next
time!! I will absolutely be taking local friends
just to give them a taste of some popular American
fare.the atmosphere was inventing and the service
was excellent. We had delightful young lady who
served us and I was happy to see she spoke English
as well as Arabic. Thanks for the wonderful birthday
surprise and I will surely be back on a regular
basis. I even emailed my family back in Michigan to
tell them my discovery of a coney in Egypt! I can’t
wait to try your Caesar salad!

Chili House: Mmm... Chili House....
Great fast food place, but really really tasty. I
have NO idea where the chain originates but there
are a few in Jordan (one in Aqaba, a few in Amman).
They serve some great Chili dishes like; Chili dogs,
Chili Cheese Fries, Chili burgers... lots of other
items without chili, too.
chilli cheese fries... closest thing to Heaven in
that side of the world...

Recommendations for visitors traveling to Jordan.
For children’s toys try the Shalati bookstore in
Sweifiyeh as they are diverse and with a decent
price. As for the 8th circle Chili House I totally
agree with you, it is FANTASTIC…

Dear Mr. Sami,
Thank you very much for the kind gesture. Actually,
I was waiting for the holiday season to send your
kind self an e-card. You were very gracious with us,
and we’ll never forget your kindness.
Everything is going really well. My friends and I
still order from chili house every now and then… I
promised my children we’ll order the family meal on
Thursday if they behave this week..
I really enjoy the atmosphere and everything at
chili house…If there’s room for improvement, it’s
probably with kids…
My husband is a cheese-coney addict, and we really
enjoy snuggling on chili house take-away nights.
Thank you again for everything… I’m very proud of
Chili house. It’s a success story I share with those
around me when I get the chance.
Sincerely yours,
Meera Jafarie

Dear Mr. Tueimeh,
I would like to express my feelings of gratitude and
sincere thanks, on behalf of my friends and I for
the kind reception at the Main Gate of Chili House,
the staff and employees were at the best of service
and the food was up to the standards - it couldn’t
have been better, I must say that I have truly
enjoyed it!
I believe that this has proven to me that our Local
Chain Restaurants shall remain our choice, and that
our loyalty remains to these chains that care for
such customer satisfaction.
I wish you all the best in the future, as I hope to
hear of the expansion of your Restraunt Chain
throughout the region.
Thank you very much for everything.

Dear Sir,
I am visiting Jordan for a little over a week on a
round the world trip. I was driving around Amman
with some friends to look at a bridge, when out of
the blue I see a sign for a 3 way and a cheese coney!
Wow, no WOW! I had to stop. Even though I was
stuffed full of falafel, i picked up a 3 way.
I was shocked to see a Gold Star cousin in Jordan! I
grew up in Cincinnati and now live in Los Angeles.
We don't even get Cincy chilin in LA. (i do make a
pretty good 3 way if i do say so myself)
Any way I came back to Aqaba to do some more diving
and try to see Wadi Rum between wind storms and have
visited the Chili House here and enjoyed it just as
much as in Amman. I may try to get them to make me a
chili cheese sandwich, my fav.
Thanks and good luck,
Dan
